A Unique Cellar Management App

What makes OENO unique as a cellar management tool, is that it is powered by Vivino label recognition AI, so users don’t need to manually enter all information about their wines to log them. By partnering with Vivino, the world’s largest wine label database, OENO allows users to simply snap a photo of a wine bottle label to automatically identify and retrieve all information about their wine – including grape varietals, regional style, winery, vintage, tasting notes, Vivino ratings and more.

Expert Information To Guide Your Journey

Along with a team of international sommeliers, Vintec has also developed expert recommendations on over 300 different wine regional styles and varietals, to help you enjoy your wines at their best: suggested serving temperatures, recommended aging potential/drinking windows and aeration, as well as tips on the best glassware to use.

1. Create

Create a virtual replica of your wine cellar(s) with great precision. Vintec Cellar owners can automatically import the model and configuration of their registered cellars on the Vintec Club website to OENO.

2. Scan

Snap a photo of a wine bottle label to automatically identify and retrieve all information about the wine – including grape varietals, vintage, ratings and more - powered by Vivino. 

Get recommendations for more than 300 different wine regional styles and varietals, to help you enjoy your wines at their best - serving temperatures, aging potential, aeration and glassware to use.

3. Manage

Keep track of which wines they have and where they are located exactly in your cellar(s). Manage your collection by adding multiple bottles at once, move them around and drink them as you wish. 

4. Pair

Get recommendations on pairings and what to drink from your cellar.

The “What to drink?” tool provides recommendations on which wines from your collection you should drink based on food pairings, grape varietals, countries or wine ratings. It helps you browse through your collections and quickly find the best bottle to open for occasion.

5. Buy

Buy, restock and build your wine collection through our unique integration with Vivino Market - users will be directed to Vivino Market whenever they wish to buy or restock.

OENO by Vintec is a free app. It is available for download from the App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android) in most countries where Vintec is present.

OENO and The Vintec Club

Vintec Club members can register to OENO by using the same email address as in their Vintec Club profile to get access to premium features, including unlimited wine label scans and automatic import of cellar(s) details and configurations.

How do I find and download OENO by Vintec?

OENO by Vintec is a free app that can be downloaded from the App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android). The app has been released in the following countries: Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and United States.

As we continue to develop the app, new countries will be added to the list.

Any user based on the countries above can search for 'OENO by Vintec' at the App Store or Google Play and click through to install it.

I didn't receive the verification email. What should I do?

As part of the registration steps to the app, you are requested to confirm your email address via a verification email sent to your inbox.

In case the verification email is not received, please proceed with the following: (1) Re-send the verification email from OENO; (2) Check your email account's spam/ junk/ clutter box.

How do I connect OENO to my Vintec Club account?

Vintec Club members have exclusive access to premium features in OENO by Vintec.

In order to connect OENO to your Vintec Club account and unlock all features, make sure to register to OENO using the same email as for your Vintec Club account.

When using the same email, OENO will identify you as a Vintec Club member and ask you if you would like to link accounts - to which you should answer 'yes' in order to be able to take advantage of all features.

Ongoing Use

Some of my bottles are not being recognized. What can I do?

OENO by Vintec is powered by Vivino label recognition AI, with access to the biggest wine database in the world. However, it is still possible to not find certain wines for different reasons. If you are in auch situation, please consider the two following actions:

The bottle is too distant from the camera or the light is not good enough: Always try to retake the picture as a first step. Make sure to centralize and maximize the label on the camera. Make sure there is enough light to allow the camera to capture all details from the label. 

After trying a couple of times, I still cannot find it: If this is the case, then probably the wine is not part yet of Vivino's database. In this case, after trying to capture the picture of the label, on the "retry" screen, click the option to "add manually" and enter all the bottle information requested manually. Your wine will then be displayed in the same way as the others in your wine cabinet.
